Powdersville Acute Care is an older facility and that made me hesitant for placement there. HOWEVER, the care my family member received there was actually better than other skilled nursing facilities we have used. The PT was rigorous and consistent and that’s what you want. Other facilities were very sporadic with their PT schedule and no one knew when they were coming or if they would come at all. Also, the NP and nurses were very attentive and detailed with a complex patient. I think the care was excellent.
My grandmother was helped here post her hip surgery. The team was so nice and took great care of her. They went above and beyond.
